We are a family of 4 recently booked a Turkey private tour with Ertunga and have thoroughly enjoyed the tour experience proposed and arranged by Ertunga and his partner Maria.
The reply to email and messages over phone is prompt and fast. The quoted price is competitive and very reasonable. Our 8 days tour of Turkey included Istanbul, Cappadocia and Kusadasi and surrounding area including Ephesus and Pamukkale. The privately tailored tour package includes 4 stars hotel accommodation, all meals excluding dinners, pick up from and drop at Airport, all domestic flights, tour guide, private luxurious vans and entrance fee to all museums and other points of interest. I must say we are truly satisfied and happy with all the arrangement and amazed by the level of hospitality, friendliness, flexibility and professionalism in almost all area of services rendered by Ertunga and his team. The patience and depth of local knowledge is highly valued.
But above all, I would like to highlight the following extraordinary acts that make Ertunga and his team different from the rest:1) On the first night of our arrival in Istanbul, there is an issue (due to failed air conditioning system) with the hotel we were assigned, when I contacted Ertunga way after mid night, he immediately move our family to an upgraded hotel despite he has already paid 3 nights in advance with the original hotel. No hesitation and immediate action to ensure his guests are well taken care of.
2) In Kusadasi, when we asked about laundary services after almost a week of travelling, he offered to wash and dry our clothes. He said we could save money and he or Maria did not mind to help. After travelling half a world, this is the first time I met a tour guide who treat his customers not just as his guests, and beyond friends, he treated us like part of a family. This is an extra mile that few would take. But Ertunga and Maria just did it so naturally, without us asking.
3) In a rush, we left our winter jacket in the Istanbul hotel and only realized it when we arrive Cappadocia. When we informed Ertunga, he told us to leave it with him. And true enough, on the way back to London from Izmir, during the stopover in Istanbul for transit, Ertunga arranged his team to deliver the jacket to the airport, totally free of charge. This is definitely a hassle for his team, but all was arranged efficiently and leaving us worry-free.
